2023 General Assembly - 6th and 7th of June in Brussels

The 2023 annual Network General Assembly will be taking place in Brussels on the 6th and 7th of June.

We are very glad to be able to reunite for an in-person GA once again after the success of last year’s first General Assembly in Brussels after the pandemic.

The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of End FGM European Network, and it is made up of all Full Members of the network. Associate Members may participate as observers – meaning that they can take part, and take the floor, but they do not have the right to vote. The General Assembly needs to convene at least once a year and deliberate over the following: Statutory changes, approval of accounts and budgets, election of representatives to the Board, voting on new Members, approving the annual work plan of the Network, and more.

All Members can attend the General Assembly, though only Full Members have the right to vote.

End FGM EU will cover the cost for one delegate per Full Member attending. If more than one delegate from an organisation would like to participate, they are most welcome. However, their organisations or themselves must cover the cost. Associate Members who want to attend are also welcome and can register, though you will need to cover the costs for the delegates attending.

If you are a Network Member and have not received the official invitation and registration link, email info@endfgm.eu.

For more information about the General Assembly, please find the Statutes here.
